Dr. Massey is the program manager for the DHS Homeland Open Security Technology (HOST) program (http://www.dhs.gov/csd-host) which serves as a principal sponsor of the Open Source Unmanned Remote and Autonomous Vehicle Systems program. Dr. Massey was previously an Associate Professor and founder of the Network Security Research Group at Colorado State University. His research interests focused on the security and robustness of large-scale network infrastructure, including both enhancements to current protocols and the development of new network architectures. Dr. Massey is the author of over 75 peer reviewed publications and his work is funded primarily by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Homeland Security, with previous funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and other sources.
